Shock and Awe. Could not believe my eyes when i seen this title (re-incarnated) sitting in the steam store. This game is LEGENDARY beyond reason... If you've played it 15 years back you know what i'm talking about. If your 15 years old, go steal 20$ from your parents, play this game. It is a true (one of a kind). The standard. Bar None. Has held a wicked reputation for over a decade... WE'VE ALL SAID WE MISSED IT, AND ITS BACK!!!! K.U.F. YOUTUBERS REJOICE!!! SEND WORD TO THE MASSES!!! The game is OUTSTANDING, period. -Minus multiplayer? oh well go play KUF2 if that's what you want. DEVS DESERVE A STANDING OVATION; CONTROLLER SUPPORT MENU, NO LOOT BOXES, NO B.S. Even if KUF2 didn't do as well as desired; The Presence of THIS game ...could possibly mean-? Will the DEV's break the magic seals and AWAKEN THE ANCIENT DEMONS..!?!?!? Will CIRCLE OF DOOM come-- Kicking/Roaring/screaming back to life?!? The new-world could not possibly be ready for that yet... They are NOT PREPARED... Time will tell. Have well over 3000 hours in this and circle of doom, (XBOX). Replay value?.. YES!! RE-PAY VALUE? YES!! Worth the wait, Worth 20$, worth everything the game is, was, and meant to be.. THEY DON'T MAKE GAMES AS GREAT AS THESE ANYMORE. SOLID BUY. FULL SEND.

TL;DR European High Fantasy Dynasty Warriors with RTS Elements (works surprisingly well), game works, locked to 30fps, no initial glaring issues, just as though you were playing an Xbox game that was released on PC like.... 15 years ago or so. Also, pretty savage metal soundtrack too.

Well, hopped in and did the first missions. Its as you remember, if you've played it on Xbox. Feels a BIT like... almost like its emulated. There isn't much changed as far as I can remember/tell. 30fps lock, but, didn't seem to be messing with my refresh at all, so it looked and ran smoothly. Using a Controller, though there are KB&M Controls (can't speak to them though, not a game I'd really suggest using them on). There isn't anything special here, aside from, well, an accessible and fully functional way to play Kingdom Under Fire. If thats what you're looking for, then this is what you want.

Literally my favourite game of all time. An original take on the high fantasy genre, intense mix of hack and slash and rts gameplay with a lot of awesome rpg features, and FOUR 10-12 mission long campaigns, each one more awesome than the last. Buy this game. Buy it five times, spend all the money you would've spent on whatever BS modern AAA title just came out and buy this game instead. You will never regret it.
