Are there cheats for this game?
It would be fun to play as different heros and spawn different troops in-game

Those two things are more in the realm of modding than cheating, but there's some of both that can be done. CheatEngine can be used to pretty easily modify current EXP/Gold, though I only find it interesting for the purposes of testing the game's mechanics. Modding is a fast-evolving process right now, and we're looking at anything from replacing 3D models to improved graphical effects, to changing the text. There's a lot to look forward to already.
