They use the same exact animations like the Gabrand model does with Knights.
So it should be a smooth process, but I don't know any thing about modding when it comes to this game.

Its an officer you can recruit in the pub, he uses the same weapons as knights, but cant equip extra armor.

As far as this goes there are two ways: Either KuF devs provide us with the map editor they used or the data layout, even if it's old or we figure out the stg structure so we just edit the worldmap data to add campaigns. Changing maps on current mission data is easy:

Through using the cheat engine table from Gideon, and some finesse, the "Patriarchal Guard" armor is equipable. I'll provide a guide to this when I have time.
