"Failed to Fetch Live Game Data?"
I'm on a fresh Windows 10 install, and when I press any button to start, the screen goes black, then I get a dialogue box that says what's in the title, then the game locks up and I have to alt-f4. Anyone know what that means?

Typically that happens if your connection to Steam is interrupted or when our backend is down. If it continues to happen, please send us logs. They're in %localappdata%/Anacrusis/Saved/Logs/Anacrusis.log

I am getting this error on one of my machines. Windows 11 box, game worked perfectly before, this is a new issue.

Can you try and verify your game files?

You can do this by right clicking on the game, choosing properties - > Installed files - > verify integrity of game files.

If that doesn't work, has anything else changed in your setup?

Verified all game files. Nothing has changed in my game setup. Uninstalling now and re-installing to see if that fixes it.

Do you have a wrong date/time set on that computer by any chance?

I don't know if this thread is still open but i'm having this same issue now. I verified the files, uninstalled and reinstalled on two different hard drives and my date/time is correct. Has anything been found how to fix things?

We cannot duplicate this issue - it will happen when steam or EOS is down or cycling - tuesdays is always bad for Sream...

Can I ask where you are located?

Chicago. I know Tuesdays on steam stink. If there is anything else you can suggest i try i'm all for it though I'm not very computer savvy.

Do you have any heavy restrictions or blocks on your PC, VPN, or router? Do you block epic games? EOS. Steam? Or any other service?

And to be clear where this is happening for you - you are loading the game, hit the title screen, hit a button and then it happens there? Most likely if there you are blocking an epic service.

As far as I'm aware i am not blocking any service nor am i restricting anything. but yes, the error message is happening after i hit a button on the title screen.

What do you see if you point your browser (on the same machine) to here?

The other question then is - did you change your clock/date time to some strange time/date?
