Help Installing Formworks?

I seem to be stuck in tutorial 1. I dug the trench for the foundation, purchased the Formworks and Reinforcements, and I see the glowing guide of where the formworks should be laid, but I can't seem to figure out how to actually install them.

I'm holding the Framework in my hand, and have tried both right and left clicking where I think they should go. My PC gestures with their hands as if to put the item down, but nothing seems to happen. I've tried moving forwards and backwards to see if I'm too far away, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

Can anyone help? Is there some step I'm missing? Thanks!

I figured out the problem. The tutorial character (Bill Der?) verbally told me to buy 100 Formworks and 3 Reinforcements, which is how much I had purchased. But I noticed that the task at the top told me to buy 100 of each. It worked after I purchased 100 of each.

(The task list under the Q button also contains inconsistencies for that tutorial)
