I got the four digits but for the love of god is there any way to tell what sequence they should be entered in? i spent 20 mintes trying to get the right order but no luck and i have no idea if i just havent hit that one number or if its bugged. If there is every an update please unrandomise that number it is a painful hitch in an otherwise wonderful game.

It should just be from left to right as they appear in the sky; 4 digits in total and you'll know you've got all of them activated because the objective will change to be "Enter the Bunker" (saying this just to make sure I cover all bases and because I assume the code won't work until you've activated all the constellations).

Make sure that you're not misreading one number as another (e.g. a 7 as a 1) too.
