Radeon RX5700XT, they are not even under much load.
What version of Proton do you use, do you know about GroriousEggroll's custom Proton (which is what I use)?
Have you ever heard heard about MangoHUD? It's a game overlay that can shows system load and CPU temperature.
I have MangoHUD installed but I don't have it active for this game at the moment. I will try running the game with it enabled and see what's having trouble.
Edit: Not 100% sure what happened but the lag is mostly gone and my settings reverted to all ultra? I set the launch options for the game to include both MangoHUD and gamemode. My GPU likes to sit in the high 90s (percent usage, not temperature) and around 60 FPS in Lucas' story, regardless of where I'm at. Holding up the mirror shard still causes my framerate to tank and I can see RAM usage jump up when using it for the first time in a session.
That being said, I did find out that the TurboLag only seems to happen if I die during the current session. If I don't die at all then the issue doesn't seem to manifest. Could be a memory leak or redundant allocation of resources upon reloading a save.
