Sigil of a Forsaken God quest glitch

Seems to ask me to look at the item in the inventory, which is Melgom's Sigil, but nothing happens.

Oops, forget that. Turns out you can complete that quest by going into the portals under the church.

so I went under the church but nothing happened? I went to the altar or whatever inspected all the runes but nothing happened. Am i missing something here.

You made it down the caged elevator in the church? if you did and nothing happens it just means you haven't gotten the item that is needed in the nexus room.

hmmmmmm okay so im not where I thought i was cleared out the baddies from the church the lever says inactive.

:update i walked past that ladder at least 14 times :D

yeah we noticed this with a few streamers I'm gonna talk with the rest of the team about lighting the ladder up a little. I wanted to tell you but didn't want to tell you about the ladder!

There is a ladder in the area you are likely missing. Should be around the top of the stairs where the mini boss is. a lot of people are missing this and I just did some things to make it more obvious that it exists. level is a bit dark too.
