There's an option in the setting to specify how long the day and night are, individually.
I'm all for an auto fill! It gets old pretty quick loading stacks of planks into the car trailer, since it holds 11 stacks across, at least 5 high (haven't tested above this), and at least 3 deep (haven't tested this either but I'm pretty sure). That's 165 stacks of planks!
Yea, this is a little unusual to not have it remember. As well, lights don't remember whether they're turned on or off too, I'd like to see that information stored in the save also.
There's a gamma setting adjustment in the settings. I kicked mine up quite a bit and now the nights are manageable.
The devs have said in the UE5 update, this issue will be taken care of (it doesn't bother me really, because I tend to just use it instead of building a house / bed).
