Where to find animals DLC

I can't find wild animals in the new map - like, seriously, they just don't spawn. I've driven around the map for an in game week straight and I've only seen 2 deers.
Maybe I haven't found the right spot to hunt yet - is there a specific place that has decent spawn rates?

Pumas are likely to be found in the northern desert area, just past the road where the wild west buildings are. You can also find bears in the wooded area in the south.

Yeah played for 2 hours with a buddy last night. We found only 4 Pumas and nothing else.

Spent all last evening nothing seen....burned several tanks of gas

On again right now.....nothing seen in past hour at all

Terrible DLC so far....not impressed at all

Couldn't we have at least a few more animals spawning everywhere....why does it have to be in specific area?

I've seen many topics complaining about lack of animals in the dlc map, it's really discouraging me from purchasing the dlc. I'll wait to see if you all put out a patch to address this issue before I get the dlc.

If you restored the muscle car, the mountain lions linger in the immediate vicinity and into the hills surrounding that location.

coyote's are in the hills to the northeast, puma's are by the muscle car and bears are in the south and northeast. hope this helps

Congrats dev from high school, you managed to destroy the one thing in the game which was fun...9 in days in game, countless tanks of gas...2 bears, like seriously wtf how are we supposed to make money, what farming on a 12x12 farm plot???

So much of potential of a game, seems like its being wasted, i have over 500 hrs so I have had alot of fun over the years, there just isn't enough to keep me interested anymore, haven't played for a year, bought the dlc and thought great, I'll play again and here we are still nothing really to do...again

I can't find any animals anywhere, I've scoured the map twice.

Also why does it seem like there's dust storms every couple of minutes? I get its supposed to be the Southwest but it gets annoying quick, is there a way to change that setting?

Are you going to fix the wild animal problem? Which would mean ADDING more animals to the game! There are very few to none at the present. Try playing the game and do an animal quest. Anyway I'm sure you know whats wrong. I need to know if I should waste any more time in game. The animal population is NOTHING like the game before the dlc.

I was having this issue.spent days looking for predators to finish the quest. I loaded from saves and was no help. It wasn’t until I closed steam reopened it and loaded from a a save bears pumas and deer spawned. Also the ATV is better for hunting its $500. I load up a couple gas cans a cooler and can hunt way faster. I only the use the station wagon to get supplies and move oil. Sold the classic car it’s useless. Got $800
