OIL Mining

How do you oil mine in the southwest expansion pack ?

Same way as the Base game... find the active oil spawns and place the rigs etc...

first thing I did was drive all over the map and am yet to see any oil slicks, they are really hidden. that and rotating platforms does not seem to work.

I found 1 Oil patch on the $24,000 Farm. It is located at the bottom of the cliffs heading South.

Can I only place one oil rig? I placed one and found another oil patch but couldn't place a rig on it - the blue print/construction ghost (whatever) doesn't turn green to place it.

Spoiler: To add the location for oil:
The one I placed a rig is very far west, a bit west of the road leading north to south, quite in the middle height of the map

i found 4 oil rigs, the first and the best 1 is under the bridge near the dealership store, quick access to sell the oil. another one is more closer to the 8k ranch. and the other to are locked in the other 2 ranches you cant place there untill you buy the ranch

rather southwest the $36K ranch beyond the street in the west - sorry, I meant west, corrected this mistake in the first post.

These are the spots, I was previously talking about in my question. That one, already with a rig on it, and the place with the marker (maybe not exactly, but quite there, between some trees) where the game doesn't let me place another rig.
