Game Freezing Up.

I have to say it seen every time when one of my chickens eggs is hatching my game freezes for about 5 mins. It does get annoy cause it happens all the time, developers please fix the problem. Because I spent a lot money to renting a new gaming laptop.

The game is not optimized well at all and makes my desktop run hot .....Rented laptop is probably your issue just sayin ...

I would turn on Vsync or cap your frames @ 60 if you have not already and make sure you have some kind of "extra cooling" going on if your gonna run unoptimized games that are running on UE5

I must admit, I never heard of renting computers/laptops. Is that a big thing?

Yeah I got it from Rent-2-Own they have pretty good things there just make sure when getting any electronic from them that it is new like in the box new.

My laptop is a gaming laptop & it is new cause I wouldn't even be able to play it on Unreal Engine 5, & being able to get the new contents like the light switches, pets, horses, painting cooler different color.

I see. You are buying it but they allow you to make payments and they call it renting. Not much different than paying for one on a credit card and making monthly card payments.

I don't think i have ever seen or heard of anyone complaining of such an issue before.
Does it only happen with eggs when hatching, or are there other areas of the game where you experience this?
Have you done anything like verifying the game files or other fixes to address this yourself?

Only when the eggs hatch at 8:00am & then it is find after that. But it freezes for about five minutes. I just use a stop watch & it took about 07:10:61 before it went back to normal.

The save data for the game is located in AppData\Local\Ranch_Simulator\Saved\SaveGames
You can get to this location easily by doing the following
Press the windows key and R together to open the run command
Type in %appdata%/../local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/SaveGames and press ok

all your animals wake up at 8:00 if i remember correctly and your not the first person to say they get "lag" @ this time ......you have also never posted your laptop specs ....

in the top left corner of steam go to help /system information and copy past that info here ....

I still suspect your lapheater is not up to par for the game yes it will run but poorly if you dont have enough ram or a weak gpu ......I am no expert but it sounds like you are "throttling" @ 8:00 and it takes a few min for your system to catch up
