The pets problem

Having some issues like when you buy dog or a cat they do not spawn at the right place of the shop or do not even spawn. Also, if you let them wander they can dissapear, die from hunger(read about such problem, but it haven't occured to me), or just go somewhere away so you will never see them again. Built a doghouse let the dog wander but it didn't use it ever, so what the purpose? decorative?
It's quite possible that this issues are caused by me playing on saves that are from previuos patches but still.
Inviting other users to share their experience with pets and tips to have to keep them alive.
It would be great if devs looked into this issues first, because its much easier to fix.

I built a dog house, got food and a water/food tray for it, went to the store and bought a Shepard went outside, whistled to it, it came up to me. I tried to pick it up and load it but no options except to pet it. I petted it and then it ran off and i never saw it again. Lots of fun.

Pets are automaticaly hopping in the free seats in your vehicle

i tried it again and the same thing happened. He just ran off. He wouldn't jump in. I followed him around trying to get him to get in but he wouldn't no matter what i tried.

Better then how my wife made out, bring home 2 cats have food and water bowls everywhere for them 2 days later she picks up her kitty to give it some love and it dies in her arms. Didn't need to hear that loud scream from her followed by a WTF.

I always build a pen for my pets on here, when you are building it be sure to have your dog following you or in an enclosed place, if you have a cat make sure he/she is in your vehicle. always be sure not to leave any gaps in the fence larger than the cat is wide right now, i have the pen attached to my house, that way I can bring the dog and cat in to the house when i want, and bring the dog with me in the car.

Yes, i even tried to just get him to follow me and i would just walk to the ranch but he would not follow, just keeps running off.

the whistel isnt always working witht the dog oe horses i chace my horses every were cause they dont follow can you please fix this also it would be nice if they didnt were tack all the time

Be good if the dog just came to the whistle, then to have your curser on him then whistle to have him follow you. If he has gone for a wonder how do you get him to follow you if you don't know where he is.

The dog should always stay in the vicinity of the owner or in eye site, Unless you tell him to stay, like in Mist Survival.

My dog lasted a day and has gone, don't know where he is.

I always keep them fenced in.

I've always treated the pets like livestock. Penned up and close to food and water.

Yeah got another one and lock him in house with food and water now, when I don't want him to follow.

Found the other dog. 10 metres from his kennel, food and water. Dead, by the fuel Tanker. Maybe he was sniffing petrol and it go the better of him.
