Animals starve despite the availability of food

Why do animals die of hunger even though there is enough food? Had two chickens in a medium sized chicken coop, and the food was actually right in front of them. One chicken was full and the other starved to death from the full pile of food. If that's normal in this game, I don't want to continue playing it, it's neither fun nor useful. And why does only ONE chicken starve and not both? But in a game that focuses so much on animal husbandry, this should work better.

This is odd! Can you send us your save file so we can look into it?

The save data for the game is located in AppData\Local\Ranch_Simulator\Saved\SaveGames

You can get to this location easily by doing the following:
- Press the windows key and R together to open the run command
- Type in %appdata%/../local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/SaveGames and press ok

Then email us the save file to [e-mail] with as much detail as possible on your issue :)

Please note that we do have a backlog at the moment so it may take a bit of time until we can take a look.

I have start a new game and the problem do not appear until now . Only my friend's dog always ran after her, constantly and he stopped eating and drinking. This problem was no longer there when we quit the game and restarted it. Then the dog ate immediately. I have start a new game and the problem do not appear until now . Only my friend's dog always ran after her, constantly and he stopped eating and drinking. This problem was no longer there when we quit the game and restarted it. Then the dog ate immediately. I also had to buy the game because my girlfriend kept getting killed by a bear when she went shopping.....now I have to constantly protect her and I can't even get around to building my own ranch anymore :-))))))

it will re appear after time it always does ive restarted so many times but end up back with animals dying and not getting eggs hatching.

I just had two female pigs die and the male is fine? I have a silo and a windmill that I use a lot, didn't help! :(
Also my chickens seem to be sterile, bird flue possibly?
