Money.
I agree, Devs just pissed off the entire player base. Make the DLC an extraorgianrily generous fraction of the cost and include major bug updates FOR FREE.

yup the game is well beyond unfinished and now you want us to purchase another unfinished patch? Do what you promised complete and release the game. I feel like i just got ripped off.

And yet somehow, the game is still rated as very positive...

Just wanted to jump in here and make it absolutely clear that the bug fix patch releasing on 17 February is for the main game and is of course a free patch. The paid DLC is releasing at the same time as the upcoming patch, but is separate, optional additional content.

We welcome all feedback, positive and negative (as long as it remains civil and doesn't cross into personal attacks etc), and I don't want to shut down that conversation. However, I did want to just clear up any potential confusion about the upcoming bug fix patch.

I just want to say, when this game came out, it was a lot of fun. Through the updates and changing of engines, this game (to me) went downhill fast. The driving became unplayable, the challenges of making a profit were so unrealistic. Money was just too easy to come by with no challenges of disasters that face real life ranchers. Having to fix your home, barns, fences doesn't exist. Would have been nice to have wear and tear on all the stuff on your ranch. Having to invest in unexpected weather damages etc...

I am not really upset for this DLC coming out but to put it out when the base game is a mess and charging that much for a DLC is not very encouraging. I know every company needs to refresh their revenue to continue the development. However, the base game needs a major overhaul. Especially in the financial sector of this game.

I really do hope that you all succeed in your development and this is only MY opinion. I never wish a developer to fail.

There's a very common bug that cause vehicles to start spinning and fly away. There's also a bug that causes the latest horse breeding feature to not work at all. And also there's a bug that causes eggs to stop hatching with no way to actually make it work again. Those are all pretty game-breaking bugs, that were reported multiple times and I could go on...

I cannot understand how had you even dared to remove the Early Access label from the game when it's in this kind of miserable buggy state.

There's very little to actually do in the game, there's at most 15 hours of content, unless you bother to go Millionaire achievement, which just means to repeat those 15 hours for a long time until you get it. Even the parts you can do are unpolished, not very well balanced and as stated in first paragraph, very buggy.

None of this says "this game needs a DLC", but all of this says that game should still be in Early Access and needs a lot of PATCHES to make it stable and balanced.

The vehicles spinning and flying away bug and the but with the eggs not hatching, have both been fixed in this upcoming patch releasing on Monday. As for the horse breeding bug, please could you provide more info on that one? We're not aware of this issue.

I'm glad to hear that, I like this game, but for quite some time there was lot to be desired and as I am writing this the state of the game is still not great. But I am looking forward for the next patch. I haven't even tried to report the bugs, because lot of them were already reported and not acted upon, so it felt like a futile effort, and I will be happy if this statement proves to be wrong after the patch.

About the horse breeding bug, maybe it was an isolated incident and it's been some time, so I might be fuzzy on details. Here's what I remember:
- It happened on save created on prior patch
- Save was for over 100 ingame days
- Animals were fed.
- Horses were different breeds.
- There were multiple males and multiple females in the pen, some of them purchased before the horse-breeding update, some of them purchased after the update.
- Game was running for several in-game days, both before purchasing additional horses, several more ingame days after.

I'm not sure if that's enough to actually replicate the bug, but my guess is that the long running save might be part of the problem, as it seems multiple things (e.g. aforementioned chicken hatching) simply broke over time.

it 100% has something to do with using existing saves on newer updates i had the same thing happen to me, started a new game recently with no updates to download yet and havent had an issue but i will post back after the update comes on the 17th and see if it breaks again but the horses seem fine now

In the new patch i hope the random disconnects that occur when playing with others is fixed. My friends and i kept getting disconnected randomly, game would freeze for a second, start working again and then we'd be back at the main menu
salut j'ai un problème véhicule bugé dans un arbre en auteur
now pls release, its valent day and weekend <3 come on plssss

I won't be getting it, the price is a complete joke for what seems to be just a new map. I'd expect a lot more than that for that price, especially when other devs are releasing full games for around £10 - £15 that are a lot less broken.

I used to love the game, but now I regret even buying it in the first place. Even cancelled a YouTube playthrough due to how buggy it was
Please tell me vehicle handling is being addressed in this update? Played a ton before and tried to play recently and you can't hardly drive anymore without skidding out of control. Had to turn it off out of frustration.
