Remove Excalibur Games' from Steam
Ranch Simulator, Flashing Lights, Enforcer PCA, all these games are published and paid for by Excalibur. Similarly, all these games are dead or next to dead. They've all been halfway finished and spammed with meaningless DLC's that are SUPER EASY to make. Like It's a unity game I, myself, could very easily recreate the DLC's they make given the circumstances. It's an embarrassment as a consumer and as a high profile company like valve, allowing this to happen. The general gaming audience of this platform need to spread the word that Excalibur Studios is NOT to be bought from and they scam their playerbase. They don't finish games and they incite small hype with small youtubers and creators to get niche gamers to throw their money at them, only to be dissapointed with the results.

Numerous other studios have learned their lesson doing this to consumers. Boycott the hopeless achievements this company wishes to achieve and STOP BUYING THEIR GAME, LEAVE A REVIEW, VOICE YOUR FRUSTRATION.

Now they want to charge you for a DLC to Ranch Sim which barely has content to begin with...We will never see Mods for this game and they will never see another dime from me. I`ll wait for Farm Folks no matter how long it takes.

I can name off numerous, non-unity titles, that are TEN TIMES better than ranch sim. Ranch sim has that building uniqueness and the vehicle transport system which is also kind of unique. The rest is pretty much just buggy dumpster fire lol that is NOW getting a paid DLC??? Insane imo. I think they'll see how much the DLC doesn't sell and shut the dev team down... Unless somehow their frontpage steam marketing draws in a crazy unsuspecting crowd like we saw when they first released the game.

The problem though is that this studio is not set up for success from a business standpoint. Likely they're a bunch of programmers that like video games and decided to learn the unity engine to try and make some money. So, as other subpar studios, they run out of money because their product is broken at best and doesn't sell well, and to keep the cow "alive" they'll try and sell crappy DLC to keep financing their project. A successful studio can afford to release unpaid DLC (look at Planet Zoo; they release quite a bit of unpaid extra content, plus occasional for-pay dlc's, mostly additional animals; plenty other games do similarly; when a product sells the devs can focus on improving it rather than on penny pinching). For struggling studios, they'll try to make all extra dimes they can to keep the effort going before they call it quit. For us gamers it stinks because their game is quite broken while their effort heavily goes into the money making DLC instead of thorough fixing. This game's outlook is not looking any good...

After changing the engine, Ranch Sim became unplayable. With my gaming computer it only stutters in medium resolution.
The reason this thread is useless is, Gabe makes a % of everything sold on Steam. He has no incentive to remove anything making him money.

There is a reason he is worth 9.2 Billion USD. Taking away revenue streams, no matter how small, is not one of those reasons

I was surprised they pushed this DLC, I was still waiting the ranch to be playable.

What it looks like to me is that the DLC is just the same base game with different skins...what other "new" features come with this DLC?
