Was it the client of the game (not the host) driving when it teleported?
Did the player fall off the edge of the map and get auto-teleported back to the bus stop by the ranch? If the net caught the car, it should be there with them too.
If not, there's a possibility that it's still on the map somewhere?
My advice is to save frequently if you experience multiplayer desync (which can in some cases cause this to happen when a client is driving or inside a vehicle), so you have a better chance at reloading your save if this happens. Apologies for the inconvenience!
Also were they inside of the car when this happened / did the vehicle teleport with them?
Best practice I found save game before driving just incase car goes on a magic carpet ride then you can reload the game right before you drove away and the car flew away.
@Ambreon Please implement this as an option since this is still an issue in game. Allow the player to go to the car dealership and choose the car you want respawned and have it appears in the parking lot. There's definitely enough space in that parking lot to accommodate this feature. Thank you.
