Driving Physics
I’ve been playing the game for almost four hours now,
and I have to say that, overall, I really like it.

The options available are very diverse and offer a lot of fun and variety.

However, the driving physics urgently need to be revisited.
The vehicle oversteers far too much, causing tons of drifts, and the trailers start to spin out as well, flipping the car and ruining the driving experience.

Of course you get some funny moments, but those should stay within reason—eventually, even that fun wears off.

Aside from that, cool game.

The funniest part is this is after they apparently did a driving overhaul a few years back, i'd hate to imagine what the old driving was like

No, it's the opposite. Driving was tolerable back in the days of the UE4 engine. Then these guys went for looks, and pushed the UE5 update, and driving got terrible. Later, they acknowledged there was something they didn't anticipate from UE5 and haven't fixed it. That was poor QA/QC. Later they did release an update claiming to improve driving, but it barely did anything. "Releasing" an update does not mean the update actually makes an impact. It's been over a year after the UE5 update and nothing has significantly improved about driving nor many other broken things, sadly.

Well, they're still making money from this game through this new DLC, which was much more important than fixing the game, which would have cost money. Do you understand the model?
iv kinda got used to it i drive alot slower when i have a trailer i also stick to roads and stay away from driving off road i also dont ever go full speed the only thing that drives me inzane is the constant traffic jams or dears that stop traffic the smartness of other drivers needs improving road logic doesnt have logic or common sense does make me laugh tho add a sense of humour to the game i guess iv got so used to traffic and driving i hardly have accident anymore the faster you go the more dangerous driving is

Just started finally playing this game having purchased it when it first came out into EA. I figured I would wait for full release. This game hasn't hardly changed at all since then honestly.

Driving is just a God-awful mess and the whole thing is just janky but yet they have time to make a DLC map? Cool!

Hey I bought it so I am going to try to get into it and enjoy it but a pretty lazy effort.
This game could be so good with just a little care.

I will remain hopeful and in the meantime The Jank Ranch is now open for business!

driving still awful, game still un-optimized, playing for few minutes regardless of what option you choose still make us dizzy. unfortunately past 2 hrs cannot refund

!

And fishing!! Don't forget fishing, coming up (maybe) soon to a mess of a ranch near you (as per their 2025 map).

Because, in a ranch, fishing is far more important than fixing vehicle driving...
The driving physics are HORRIBLE. Almost to the point where I don't want to play anymore.
Just driving my little UTV with a small trailer is a nightmare.

I just wanna chop down some trees to transport planks to sell so I can buy a gun to hunt so I can make some money to actually do something in game...
