Suggestion: Rabbit Breeding

I wonder if we will ever be able to catch and breed rabbits? I notice they only run around the hunter's area. I've never seen them anywhere else. The hunter has a pen in his house for rabbits. And I noticed one on the ranch. The rabbits only provide one wild meat. So it shouldn't be game breaking to use them as an alternative wild meat source.
Just a thought. It would be cool. They're also cute.

You can, sort of. The rabbit quest spawns two rabbits, but you only have to return one to the hunter. The second one can be taken back to the ranch. You have to keep it in your hand though, you can't place it in the vehicle. It works best if you are playing with someone else so one of you can ride on top of the vehicle with the rabbit. The rabbits don't despawn after a restart like the deer do.
