Key prompts don't appear

When i first played the 'Press C to...' would appear without issue, then these were replaced with X Box key hints, now i just get press '-' which as i haven't played for awhile i have no idea what to press anymore. I tried removing the config folder, reinstalling, and starting new game, but no luck, i've even done a reset on my laptop since last playing and this hasn't fixed the issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

i have the same until i plug in my handcontroller again and let it be pluged in,

Hello, try resetting your inputs please:

- Press the windows button + R on the keyboard to open the run console
- Type in %appdata%/../Local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor
- Click ok
- Delete the "input" file
- Try the game again

If that doesn't work, check the settings file to ensure it's in keyboard mode and not controller: - Press the windows key + R on your keyboard to open the run console
- Type in %appdata%/../Local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and press ok
- Open input.ini file in a text editor.
- make sure it says PlayerKeyGroup=(TagName="KeyGroup.KeyboardMouse"))

i try it but i was the same, so i get in the input optioions and remapped the keybindings and all the things works again

I've tried all above, i gave up and just plugged in my xbox controller, never done this before and actually find it easier

This fix actually works. YOU MUST reassign all keys even if they look like they are correctly assigned. Let me know if this helps. Ranch on Ol Boy!
