Build Anywhere Update Out Now | Progression Reset

We are incredibly grateful for all of your support and feedback so far. It is what’s great about Early Access: you help to shape the future of the game, including core gameplay.

The goal with Ranch Simulator is to let you run your ranch how you want to. And so it makes absolute sense that the most requested feature has been to able to build facilities where you please.

We listened and are excited to reveal that in the latest update we've added the ability to build the likes of coops and fences wherever you like on your Ranch! This gives you much more freedom to run your ranch how you want to.

IMPORTANT: Progression/Save Reset

The build anywhere update unfortunately causes old saves to no longer work, meaning you will lose all of your progress before this update.

Why is Progression Being Reset?

Allowing you to build facilities wherever you choose is a major core, fundamental change to the game – meaning that old save files are no longer be compatible.

We very much understand how frustrating it is to lose your progress in a game, and it’s an unfortunate side effect that many Early Access games run into.

We believe that this update is a substantial step forward for the game fundamentals, and we hope that you feel the same.

Will Progression Resets Happen Again in the Future?

We can’t rule it out. We are committed to improving and expanding the game with new content throughout Early Access, and this may unfortunately result in further progression resets in the future.

Yes, there are some issues with female pigs in the current unstable version. The next unstable update, releasing later this week, will fix some issues with female pigs :)

Das Spiel ist absolut super. So ein Bauerhofspiel suchte ich schon lange. Es wäre auch toll wenn man das Futter selbst anbauen könnte. Ich freue mich auf das neue Spiel. Es ist heute schon der erste Juli, wo ist es,denn das neue Update.

Da der Spielort eine Ranch ist steht Ackerbau nicht im Fokus sondern eher auf die reine Viehhaltung.

I really like this game it is going in the right direction for me. i know it is in early access i have a question about the graphics i have a RTX 2080 and i am using a 40 inch TV but my game looks really granny or for lack of a better term is it my setup or something else ?

Probably a dumb question: I grew up playing mouse and keyboard but transitioned to console play for specific games I like to play. Is there any possibility we are going to see an option to run mouse and keyboard OR controller? Probably sounds ridiculous, I'm just having a hard time training my brain back to mouse and keyboard lol
