Updated the unstable branch. Able to pick up the cat but not the dog. I can't even put a leash on it to load in the truck to take back to the ranch. Maybe adding a leash would be good or to load the dog like a pig or cow. Had to quit the game without saving till that is fixed. Other than that, the only way to put water in the pet bowl is by bucket. The windmill does not help. That makes sense though. Great job developers!!!!

Bought the rottie, was hoping to get all 3 but seeing that i can only pet it and not get it to follow makes me not want to waste anymore money on them. Not sure where my rottie is at rn

You can use H to call it to you apparently, but i can't even find it on the map. We need a dog amd cat icon on the map, so we know where they are if they're free roaming

You might want to put them in a pen so they don't get lost
I bought all 4. cats and put them in the pig pin right away and they can't get out and you can take the dog back to the ranch with you by whistling it and then getting in the truck and then it will sit by you

i tried that it wont follow me so i dont know what to do now i wasted money as well it wont follow or maybe its a glitch.

You should see a notification on the right side of the screen to indicate the dog is now following you. You do need to look directly at the dog though

Still crappy to play. Car gets stuck and no way to unstuck. Trailer behaves like on ice. NOT FUN. I hoped you fixed something but, no. Just put in more animals but make it unpleasant to play.

I love the update that they have done and the game is still fun Yes it is a little bit annoying if you crash into a tree you get stuck to it

I've completely Lost my rottweiler. Let it out of my sight for 5 seconds because i didn't have it on follow. And now its gone somewhere. I've searched 3 times around the map and i've still not found it. Its been 5 in game days and i just ended up getting a german shepherd instead. I'm still hoping the rottie shows up though. But unless there's a tracking icon on the map, i doubt i'll see it again.

My cats however have been put inside a building so they're not going anywhere.

Edit: Scratch that, My german shepherd is gone now. Loaded up my save. And thought because i had it already assigned to a kennel, that'll it'll stay in the area, like it did yesterday. NOPE. Left to buy some stuff from the store and he's also wandered off to GOD knows where....

Devs, please give us a tracking icon for our maps for dogs and cats. So if they wander off we can collect and put them back. Was this even tested? or just thrown in?

I as a dog lover bought a rottie and named it leon at first i didnt know how to get it home so i left it there for 1 day(game day) until i searched it
after that i built him a home and food for him then i assigned him to the dog house and i havent seen him eversince i really think this game should add a pet icon on the map or atleast in the screen so we wont have any lost pet (leon my beloved dog if ur reading this pls come home daddy misses u very much)

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and put a huge fence all around the farm and just let everything roam free. Saves up on time trying to make it fast enough to close the coop doors before the chickadies get out :;D

Im new to the game, just got it yesterday. Finally playing it today. I went to the general store and did the quest of buying two chickens and an egg basket. I also bought a German shepherd dog. I went outside and only the two chickens and egg basket were there. Can't find the dog I bought anywhere!! What the heck????
