I made few quests with a guy who wants ancestors treasures, i got enough money to have pigs, build a farm, all tools for make sausages, and let's begin the business.
I have not my chickens anymore, i forgott to feed them.
I will have new chickens when i will be able to build the auto-feeder.
1.) Get through the tutorial with 2 chickens in the barn by the original fence
2.) Immediately demolish the small coop from the tutorial
3.) Invest in the electric sawmill and cut down trees, process into planks to build the ultimate chicken farm - chickens are my early-game go-to but you can build to your taste. Just build! You've got a lot of land available IF you get those trees cleared.
4.) When you need money, do these quests in order to get maximum benefits.
- The hunter has multiple quests. Its best to start with the Predators! quest as, at the end of it, you get a rifle which is a massive upgrade from the pistol. It'll help you shoot farther, more accurately and more stealthily, Using the rifle does have a slower loading time BUT it has more bullets per cartridge AND it'll take fewer bullets to take down your target. So this is the first quest to complete.
- Next, do the rabbit quest from the hunter. If you get the wolf before you chase the rabbit, then that meat will go toward your Predators! quest. If you go for the rabbit first, that's $200 AMD there's usually wolves around still. But be careful! Wolves will follow you into the cabin so I suggest having your UTV block the door enough for you to slip in but keep the wolves out. Then you can turn in the rabbit and pick up the wolf that still wants to eat you.
- You can have up to three quests active so keep the quest involving bringing him wild meat, not just hunting predators, active as much as possible. Now, go to the old lady's ranch and complete all of her quests. Start with the cleaning ones and save the foxes for last. You'll get quite a bit of money and some wild meat out of it so you don't want to skip it.
- Next, go to the farmer by the lake and do almost all of his quests. Don't bother with the rebuilding barn quests - he pays you LESS than the wood is worth! Just do the deconstruction and Fetching trailer quests before ending with the Treasure of The Ancients.
At the end of this, I'll usually have quite a bit of money. I'll top off my gas tanks and spend as much as I can on supplies and apply them to my blueprints before I do the next round of quests.
5.) The hunter's quests involving wild meat, as well as the rabbit quest, the lady's fox quest, and the farmer's Treasures and Fetching trailer quests are all REPEATABLE. I haven't figured out the exact timing but its somewhere around once per in-game day or two or once every few real-life hours depending on how your time settings are. But if you play your cards right, you'll get a lot of cash with each round. Before you know it, you'll have gotten your ranch to a place where you're bringing in decent money just from your animals and won't need to do the quests anymore.
6.) DON'T TAKE ANY LOANS! I know its tempting to get that cash in your account so you can spend it, but if you don't have enough income to guarantee you're bringing in at least twice what the daily repayment is, then you can't afford the loan. Also I think the maximum loan is $2500 which is the same amount you earn by doing a Treasures quest so would you rather earn that money scot-free or would you rather get that same amount upfront but have to pay it back and risk your ranch going bankrupt?
There is a lot of flexibility in this plan since you will have tons of free time waiting for the pigs to get going. You can speed this up by adding another female or two, early. But you can choose to fill your time doing anything or nothing either way the money will be coming in more than reasonable time.
now at my own save i just receive 500$ per barel, is that a bug? how can i get 2x the money?
ive added you as a friend if you accept i can come and help on your ranch a bit mayb give some ideas.
