Character creation issue

I never played the early access, so this is my first time with the game. Am I doing something wrong, or does character creation not allow you to zoom out? It's only showing me shoulders up. So when I'm choosing shoes, pants, or body, etc...it doesn't allow me to zoom out and see. It's really annoying. Am I missing a function or is this a bug?

You choose each section. Upper body for the shirts etc, Then Lower body to see and choose the pants. Then accessories for hats etc. When you have done all this it does show you what you look like in them all and if you don't like the pants with the shirt or shoes you can go back and try on something else before you finally accept. Hope this helps.
