The LS or FS cannot be compared with RS. For me, RS is a nice little game without any great demands on the player, it's just something to kill time. In LS, on the other hand, you really have to immerse yourself in the game to build up a flourishing economy. The technical demands and possibilities are also much more complex and varied, almost inexhaustible. If only because of the many mods from some very good modders. I also think that the development team of Giants cannot be compared with the development team of RS, probably due to the financial possibilities and the size of the team.
Get Ranch Sim if you just want something a bit different - there's hunting with guns and some quests that you won't find in FS22, and also the animal management is more 'hands-on', where you literally can move the animals around yourself. But the overall farm operation you will manage in RS is a one-man job; a lot smaller than what you will manage in FS22.
If you want something that will last you a life time of enjoyment in farming and scales from managing a small farm to managing a multi-faceted corporation of agricultural production, go for FS22 for sure!
