I thought it might have been an issue with just the retro house, as I had never used that house before...
So, I started a new game where my husband daughter played with me. We built the house i used to use.... The one with the 6 on it. They haven't had as many issues with this house. My husband and I took the bed to the right of the stairs, and my daughter the bed behind the pool table. Sometimes the bed behind the pool table does the same as the retro house, and they can't sleep in it, so then they sleep in the other bed, and I take the one behind the pool table. At least they are not having to log out and back in with this house... so that is good.
I am getting used to the update in the game, I personally as the host have not had any game play issues (again after I changed to launching with direct x11)... but there are two things I have noticed.
1.) When I chop down trees, if I click for the tree to become logs while the tree is upright, the bottom log sinks into the ground as if it was quick sand.
2.) When at the hardware store, if I buy stuff with my vehicle parked on the pad, and something I buy lands on the same spot as the vehicle, the vehicle will sink into the pad as if the weight of the purchase was too much. It has never been an issue, as I just hold R and flip the truck which brings it back up on all four tires.
Yesterday, I was playing with my daughter though, and she had gotten herself a truck, and parked on the hardware store pad, and purchased quite a bit of stuff. She came out, and her truck was sinking into the pad... She made the mistake of clicking on the truck in attempts to get in it before getting it out, and she too got stuck in the pad with just her head above the ground and became stuck. Luckily, she was able to flip the truck and she and the truck were set free. lol.
Other than the above issues, we have been having fun with the game. My husband milks the cows, and works the fields. My daughter cares for many chickens and runs the garden. I mainly lay out all the blue prints for the layout of everything, and manage the pigs. We've got quite a bit of money coming in from everything a long with the oil every day. I'm not sure really want to do after I get everything built and running smoothly. I have the horse area prepared, but have not begun to purchase the horses yet... that will come soon. But I am concerned that the funnest part is putting everything together. I am not sure if it will keep my interest after I have everything. I guess I'll see.
