Guns and Ammo store location?

I just started a game and have seen people talk about hunting being a good source of early income. The trouble is, I don't want to shoot up all my ammo, especially since I don't know where I can buy extra ammo or the hunting rifle. I looked in both the general and hardware stores and could only find something called a "Stunner", which I assume is used for cattle.

I hope somebody could help me find my way around the town.

The ammo is at the general store. It comes in a box of 24 for $40. Look in the ALL tab. The hunting rifle is acquired by finding the hunter and completing his predator hunt quest. The stunner is for killing your livestock. Personally, I don't bother using it. It has to be held right at the head of the animal. It is much easier to just buy some ammo and use the pistol.

I bought it but it doesn't show bullets there and my pistol has no bullets left

The boxes of ammo will be laying on the ground outside the store in the sell zone. They can be a bit hard to see sometimes.
