Painting Buildings

Is there going to be an option to paint pre-made buildings in the future? I love the aesthetic of the barn, but hate that it has to be red. So my choice is either mismatched farm or homemade barn, which doesn't look as cool. Same with houses. if we can do it with coops, why not anything else?

I saw some kind of painting mixer in the hardware store, a separate terminal, but never tried it yet.

It works for fencing, player designed buildings, and the coops only.
