where can i find Oil

i started a new game in unstable Version 0.98 and look over an half hour over the Map and i found no Oil

all over the MAP you have to look for black round huge spots its tricky but i had trouble at first but they do exist. you have to take time and drive round the map and see....

i have been looking for them too, i watched youtube player placing one down but when i went to that same area on my map i could not place it, i think they should be marked on the map also the area needs to show up better, i still have not found an area where i can place one.

i make a new game, then where oil...
then i make another new game and no oil where on the Map...
looks like a bug

near your ranch is a spot for Oil, when the ground is black you can place an oil derrick...
now i restarted 5 new games and no oil where on the map...

I don't know if the same spot shows up every time. I started a new game recently and it took five game days for the oil patch to show up. I would ride out every day and check all the spots to see if any were active. The one that I have active is across the street from the car dealer and the ranch entrance.
