Harvester Attachments - how to get home??

Ok, I am finally able to start buying all the harvester attachments. I am a single player, and I just cant figure out the most efficient way to get everything home. I have the black truck and a vehicle trailer. I've tried driving the harvester onto the trailer and attaching, but it just doesnt stay on there or get on their easier. I'm about to pull my hair out. Tips please!!!

Harvesters aren't supposed to go on the car trailers, so the physics are a littlebit strange with it. The intended way is pretty much to just pick each of them up with your harvester, even though it takes horribly long. I would recommend to just do it while watching a video or listening to a podcast.

Might also be worth to get 3 seperate harvesters, one for each crop type, so that you can save some time driving to the shop or the time switching fields. At least that's what i plan to do eventually^^

It is a real pain in the ass. There is a thing called a header trailer, but not in game.

There really isn't an efficient way. I recommend that you take a UTV with a full can of fuel for each harvester to the car store. Next, drive the harvester over to the hardware store, pick up the header and drive back to the ranch. Last, run back to the car store on foot to grab the next harvester or the UTV.

If you are buying separate harvesters for each field, and want to color coordinate them, make sure to pick up the header first. Stop at the paint shop with the header attached and it will paint to match.

If you are as talented as my friend, you may be able to come up with some shortcuts. I've even seen her haul a cow on the hood of a UTV, but I don't have a screenshot of that.
