Where are the bears and wolves?

I am doing the hunter quest and I have to kill 5 predators, but I can't find bears and I hardly find wolves. Where are they?

okey?` i´m pplaying alot ang run into them the whole time, easyiest is on the field up to the old man and from the gas station and down tro the hardware store. and up on the hill behind your ranch

The best place to find bears is around the large flat area by the lake between the NPC ranch and hardware store.

There are three good places for wolves:

-Near the bus stop between the hardware store and the gas station. This is the one that is near where the dirt road to the lake campground starts.

-Up the mountain in the SW corner of the map. Go back by the 3 field plots on the ranch, then head up the steep hill at the end of them, heading west. This is the area that the dagger is in. This area is actually part of the ranch, so you can build yourself a hunting cabin or stand up there. I have found up to five wolves at a time up there, but usually 2 or 3.

-Around the hunter's cabin.
