Trees regrow or not?

There are to many mixed answers to this question when searched, if a dev or even a link to them confirming if it regrows now or not would be great. Thank you.

Oh thanks, that is disappointing to learn though. It would be great if there was a like a single forest where the trees did regrow.

A good solution would be if you chop down a tree and leave a stump, it grows back. If you remove the stump, it will not regrow.

There's really no reason for trees to grow back in this game, unlike survival games. There isn't an ongoing need for wood and there are plenty of trees to build any and everything a person could want to build. No point in cutting them to sell for money because there are better ways to make much much more money.

yes, trees grow back, you see small mini trees sprout from the ground, every day they get bigger

There is one normal scenario where a new tree will spawn in. The bee nests spawn into the game with their own tree. You can cut these trees down for wood after you harvest the nest and before it de-spawns.

It's not really about money. It just sorta adds to the sim. I also don't plan to chop down every tree. That would just ruin the aesthetics.

I'm not sure regrow is the word, but, the forest I cut away eventually grew back to my property/buildings where I didn't mow the grass down. It is a slow process. Also makes it annoying when doing the treasure quest because the tree grow thicker in the paths I took.

On another matter about the tree regrow has anyone ever realize when you cut down the tree it only take one wack to knock it down.

Yes, I wish that you had to either equip an ax first, or hit it more than once. I keep accidentally chopping down trees.

i play the game now after a year break i dont know if i right remember or not but i was earlier able to chop everywhere on the map trees but now i only able on my ranch anyone know now if they now regrow or not because if i want build alot i think than i will not have enough wood?

Right now, you can only cut trees on the ranch and they do not grow back. They have some changes planned for later this year. You will have to make some money and buy lumber from the store for larger projects.
