About the pigs, do I have to take them myself to the general store or do they die after 10 days? Or I let them die without food? Does the meat get spilled after a certain amount of time? Thanks

I kill the pigs when they get fully grown, then the meat can be boiled or ran through the grinder and sausage maker and hung up to dry....the meat does not spoil
Hint: you will make more money if you add an egg to the meat

You need to buy the stunner from the general store. You can carry it around and place it where ever then grab the main gun piece from it, aim it at the pig and pull the trigger to kill it. Then "use" the pig's carcass to convert it to meat. As bethmetzger79 said, the meat doesn't spoil.

You can sell it to the fast food place (note when they have pig meat on the board you'll get more for it when you sell). Or you can make much more if you make it into sausages or meatballs (sausage > meatballs).

If you add egg and/or milk to the meat in the pot after grinding it but before doing anything with it (similar to cheese), you'll get a more valuable sausage. Getting set up for this can be costly so you may want to work your way up to it. The electric grinder and sausage stuffer saves a lot of time (rather, it performs the function while you can do something else). So you can get a lot done in a short amount of time. Note that you'll want to use coolers to store the sausages when transporting (a lot easier than stacking sausage) and you'll need to build meat aging cabinets.

You can also use coolers to pick up the meat and transport it to wherever you're grinding it.

I had a sow and a boar in the fence for horses (training) with feed and water trough with an extra silo nearby. The plan was to remove the feed when the gate was full. So starve. At some point I thought I would save another sow and boar for the next breeding; several pigs escaped me and ate their fill somewhere else (through the fence, for example, in the chicken feed trough). I then shot them. And when starvation took too long, I shot the rest of them too. I sold a lot of unprocessed meat (was just too much for one person) and now have 60k in the account instead of 20k.

Seems the longer you grow them the less meat you get for some strange reason, go get the no country for old men bolt gun and aim for center head or you will hurt the pig. Collect meat in a cooler tub then set up a mincing machine and sausage maker in the kitchen. Get your churn of milk and basket of fresh eggs ready along with your box of meat and you can make sausages fast and easy. Along with cheese our products in 1 trip to sell brought in over 30k money.

This has no effect on the amount of meat. Just killed a boar with a stun gun and one with a pistol. Both gave 26 meat.

if you want to just kill the pigs and sell the meat, load them in you cart and take them to the restaurant and kill them there, i did that and got 1,300 for 2 pigs

Good think that I can't waste the meat. I'm choping the meat in the pan, but what do I have to do to use the sausage maker? I try to put the pan and also only the meat on the sausage maker but it doesn't work.

To make sausage, pick up the pan with the ground meat to place it in the sausage stuffer. If you remove the meat from the pan, you will get a meatball instead.

Once you get further in the game, you're gonna have some probably with over population with pigs. Sometimes you would need to slaughter 20+ in a day and still has a lot of babies left. Pigs are the fastest and most breeder in the game with 2-6 litter. Gonna have problem with fps if ur computer is not up for it.

I raise beef cows now; that's a lot more relaxed

Yes indeed, the pigs are multiplying very fast. To prevent from being overwhelmed, I kill all the pregnant females before they give birth and only keep one. When it gives birth, I kill it and wait for the piglets to grow so I can see with ones will be pregnant and kill them before it multiplies.
