How to put down wood floor?

I can put down foundation at the exact same spot but when i try to build wood floor, it is always red. Pls help. Thanks

you half to move around a bit until it turns green, if not try pushing the key {Q} button or the {E} button to raise it up or down.

I have tried every angle even crouching while putting the wood floor still cant. I was told just now that wood floor cant be built without foundation?

I will just lower the foundation to pretend it is wood floor then. Thanks!

Are you talking about a wood floor for a foundation? I don't think you can. Otherwise, if you are trying a second floor level you need a wall or stairs to snap to.
