Yes (I think), I already progressed my ranch to have cows and milkers etc and I was making milk and normal cheese however I worked out the cost/profit of cheese and now I only make blue cow cheese and white goat cheese. You have to buy the packet of blue cheese stuff from the general store which costs $230 which does 5 cheeses, that gives a unit cost price of $46 per cheese and they sell for $264 each. The profit per blue cheese is $218 and the sell price of regular cow cheese is only $60. That means doing blue cheese over regular gives you a profit increase of $158 per cheese.

The white mould both cow and goat have a smaller profit however they are still more profitable than if you was to just sell regular cow cheese at $60 and goat cheese at $50.

Obviously my numbers don't allow for the cost of feeding etc because I have been unable to calculate this but since I worked it out I only ever do blue cheese for cows and white for goats, I no longer sell milk.

The one thing that is missing in all of this is the cost of time... pretty much everything you do in this game is less cost effective than just breeding a ton of pigs and slaughtering them, and selling the pork without processing it. Nothing will touch that in terms of making money versus the time spent. So for everything from chickens to milk to cheese to gardening/farming to you name it... all of that you kinda have to want to do and think less about how much money you make from it. The time spent will never be as cost effective as simply slaughtering pigs. You can get a lot of enjoyment out of stockpiling tons of processed sausage and cheese and then selling at the exact right multiplier to make a killing on one big sale... and have a ton of fun doing it... but it won't net you as much as just killing pigs all day. Not even close.

Honestly you're just giving me a sketchy vibe the way you described it even if you are right I plan on hearing you're murderer story on the next Netflix documentary 😂
