Cant start my game

I've just recently bought the game, and from square one I've had a problem with it. The first few times I tried to start it, it crashed immediately. I thought it had fixed itself after a while, but it still crashes on loadup 80% of the time. Its getting increasingly more frustrating. Is there a hotfix or something I'm not aware of that can fix this?

When it start it with DirectX 11 it works half the time, but runs very poorly. Bad enough that its not worth it to play.

GTX 760 is from 2013, so 9 years old.
A good alternative would be a GTX1060, has 6GB VRAM and is 5x faster compared to GTX760

Check eBay often, maybe you're lucky and you'll find a cheap gtx1060 !!

Providing the game is using the the graphics card instead of the onboard graphics, the card is still minimum requirement when the game first came out with less features. Although there has not been much added, operating at bare minimum will feel the changes first. This does not explain why the game is not starting but would explain some poor performance when it does boot up.

If you don't get money back, try to uninstall and reinstall it. Seen some great recommendations about starting in DirectX 11 via steam and of course the start of a little card update.

I got my money back, but I might just wait a couple months and try again. Thank you for the help.
