Cant start my game

I've just recently bought the game, and from square one I've had a problem with it. The first few times I tried to start it, it crashed immediately. I thought it had fixed itself after a while, but it still crashes on loadup 80% of the time. Its getting increasingly more frustrating. Is there a hotfix or something I'm not aware of that can fix this?

check graphic driver, Net-framework and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable runtime librarys on u machine.
this game requires more then 8GB RAM

I checked all of those and nothing seems amiss. Also verified my game files with no improvement. My computer can run up to 16 GB RAM so no problem there. It's not a windows error either, just says it crashed and 'Fatal error!'.

Check! actual chipset-driver from mainboard manufacturer if available? (don't use windows legacy-driver)
Check DirectX (use directX web-installer from microsoft)
Which games works properly on your machine. give us a few examples

make sure! start STEAM in admin mode or - maybe Windows Defender is blocking the savegame folder, if it is blocked then the game won't start either

I can't figure out how to check my chipset driver but when I looked up my mainboard manufacturer I got this: MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate(MS-7850). Using the DirectX version it will load up 50% of the time but run poorly. As for which games work on my device, I haven't found one that doesn't. Planet Zoo runs like a dream as does Sea of Thieves. This is the first time I have had a problem like this with any game.

The only game that I couldn't stand to run was RDR2 but that's only because my graphics card wasn't as great as I wanted it to be and everything looked like playdough. But it still started and ran properly.

make sure! start STEAM in admin mode or - maybe Windows Defender is blocking the savegame folder, if it is blocked then the game won't start either
ranch sim savegamefolder is: \Users\yourName\AppData\Local\Ranch_Simulator
savegame folder must not be blocked with defender (check defender and: share this folder)

Made sure it wasn't blocked and ran steam as an administrator. Still crashed. I guess I can just wait until an update or something and pray it fixes it.

Hi. Downloading a game from Steam, all though rare, can go bad. Try making a backup of your save game by creating a copy & placed somewhere (maybe desktop) and uninstall game. Then do a clean install of the game. Doing a verify files function via steam does not always fix corrupted downloads. Just for good practice, restart machine and then try starting the game via steam.
