Are you for real, the store page says Windows 10, game does not support Windows 7, your about 10 years behind in technology, who uses Windows 7 anymore, wow. When windows 10 released it was free for a long time.

We do not support Windows 7, specifically for the reason the tech we use in the game only runs on DirectX 12, which is only available on Windows 10.

Microsoft themselves don’t support windows 7 anymore. You will need to get windows 10. Unfortunately just the way it is. There are no longer any updates or drivers Available for it.

Despite the fact there are opportunities to still get updates I think "wasting" Win7 users by devs in general is pretty dumb.
But meh, apparently Win7 user are restricted due to dev's wealth.

Haha reminds me of about 2 years ago when my father was still using Windows Vista. Back to the post though, it's recommended to update to the latest OS for full/complete compatibility :)

I don't think you can truthfully say the developers are "restricting Win7 users due to the dev's wealth". Since if they were really only in it for the money they would have used older technology that they could "rope-in" more players to buy their game.

The developer clearly stated above:

So this is the technology that limits who can play, not the developers. Just like I cannot play today's games using my very old computer that could easily run DOS & early Windows games. The technology keeps improving, & unfortunately older systems are just not capable of handling that.

Only yesterday did I add back in the Dx11 support that we are trialing. On the official minimum specs on the store page, we specify Windows 10 and Dx12.

We're dedicating time into researching how to fix some Unreal Engine and other technical issues that affect Dx11, I'm currently running another trial on the game version 0.341 on what we call an 'unstable branch' (accessible via instructions on our Discord) and the launch option currently only works on that (even though it appears on all branches) so apologies for any confusion.
If the trial is successful at all, the build will go live to the default branch (the branch everyone plays on by default).

Hope that clears it up for you.

I won't create another topic even if this one is old : does that answer from devs means that Directx 11 / win7 x64 systems can run the game today ? I'd like to play it on co-op with my friend but she cannot buy a new PC. Thanks.
