was just wondering i get 2 lays a day from hens i sold the eggs and bought 2 more hens now have 4 all going good still getting 2 lays a day but now im only getting 1 lay is any one else getting that or just me?

Try buying a Rooster, females need males and hatch some of the eggs and make babies which will make more eggs.

the rooster will get you more fertilized eggs but no more overall eggs, except when you figure that eventually the fertilized eggs will grow up and lay eggs themselves. but total number per chicken doesnt seem to change with a rooster or not.
it seems to be random on how many per day. i have usually between 20 and 25 hens in each coop and get around 20 a day or so. if you seperate one out in the med cage they sometimes dont lay any but sometimes lay 2 in a day.

ive been having more than i can deal with TBH.. i have 3 medium coops up, every night i go to check and pull about 9 or 10 eggs per cage that arent met with aggression, the ones that do i pop w/ the revolver.. bring the eggs and chickenmeat over together, etc. .. i thin out around 4 chickens a day at this point. i keep one rooster per medium coop

I get slightly less than 1 egg per day from each hen. I had 16 hen in a large coop and only got 14 eggs per day from them. BUT... the large coop also comes with a bug that causes hen to lay eggs just outside the rim of the tray where you can't get them. I now have a total of 6 eggs I can't reach. Maybe they are some of the missing eggs.

The other large coop I had a growing population so I couldn't tell if they kept to 1 egg per hen or not. Never had 2 per day though.

When you open the "Door" on Daylight, Hens will lay Eggs out of your Coop. I have always closed the Coop-Doors. When Hens ähm... dont know the English Words sorry... When Hens dont have Sex, then will lay Eggs ever in the four Bags. But when a Hen has Sex, then lay Eg ever IN the Middle of your Coop. By the Premium Coop it is so: Without Sex-Eggs lay in the Stage one (in the Straw). And Eggs with Sex will lay on Stage 0 in the Grass below. Best reguards.

Yes it´s really annoying to collect them in a basket for days and after reloading the game all eggs are gone... Hope it will be fixed with the next update.

I place furtilized eggs in the badroom. After 3 days, you get chicks. Keep them in the badroom, they dont seem to need food or water there. When they grow up, just sell them (dont kill them) They get you 50$ each. Sometimes you get a rooster, they sell for 100$ each (not 250). I have 2 500$ coops with each 20 chicks and 2 roosters for more furtilized eggs. I get like 5 to 7 furtilized eggs a day, so 250 to 350 $ extra in sales of chicks. Besides hunting, chickens are very lucrative.

When the hens attack its because you picked up an egg that is fertilised, you just need to run a little away and they go back to being friendly, them poor mother hens.

Mmm when i kill the roosters mine sell for 120 each.
