Furniture for custom buildings?

Are we able to get some furniture and decor for customs made houses? So that we can get the same feel as the prefab houses?

I dont think they have placeable furniture like the prefab houses. So far all ive seen is the 2 misc for meat storage or whatever that look like cupboards.

Soooo...if I build a custom house it will not have a stove, refrigerator, fireplace, beds or any good stuff to make it look like a home? Is that correct?

The house plans are all furnished when you build them.

I get that, but I was hoping to build my own custom house. Without an interior that doesn't work. I also would like a concrete floor at ground level to use for a garage/machine shed to keep vehicles and trailers in. The way it is now you can't do that because the only base for building is the elevated wooden one. Kind of cheesy to have to drive up ramp into a building that's supposed to be a garage. Perhaps in a future update.

The prefeb houses do, but I am referring to the CUSTOM building.

I thinking I will build one of the prefabs with a door other than the front door and see if I can make an addition to it for a utility room. I didn't really like the designs of the early prefabs but since I haven't built any of the current ones we'll see.

There is some furnishings currently in the Build menu that can be used, such as:

• Table
  
• Meat curing cabinet
  
• Cheese curing cabinet
  
• Air mattress

But hopefully in the future there will be more options. There is a empty building just uphill from the General store.

Well, that didn't work out. Turns out the prefab house (which is nice) that has the back door also has steps. Can't add a foundation because of the steps. PERHAPS we could get an addition prefab house with all the normal furnishing and no steps on the side with a door so we can add a room? That would fix it.

You can buy some simple tools like a portable cooker from one of the stores, but it's not as great a solution as the appliances in the prefabs. Hopefully an appliance store is in the future plans too.
