It cuts faster, but you still get the same amount of planks.

Much faster, & I would assume you maybe use less fuel??

It feels like there should be more benefits.

Yep, more planks per log would be nice

more benefits? It's waaay faster. I have to hustle to keep up with just two of them with a pile of logs right next to them. I'd be picking and carefully loading logs (Don't click on the damn saw by accident - that will stop your flow quick) on 4-5 cheap saws to keep up. Waaaay less clicky = win!

I could see another upgrade even more expensive that has a preload hppper and/or a plank stacker at the output. But a saw is a saw - A certain size log has X number of planks available. A New saw doesn't make the log bigger.

Same fuel, faster working. I think exactly 2x fast

The luxury table saw consumes waaay more fuel then the cheap table saw.
Im using 2 cheap ones and they consume less that one luxury and almost same output.

Both saws use the same amount of fuel. They both cut 40 logs into 80 planks with one tank of fuel (10 liters), the expensive one ist just faster...

I tested It. Filled both up with fuel, cut till the gastank was empty and I had 80 planks both times. So, no, it does not take more fuel than the cheap one, try yourself and you'll see...

Did so also, you're correct. My first way was that i didnt look on how much they produced.
i just looked at the fuel consumption.
