Feeding chickens

Is there a chicken coup where you can feed, water and collect eggs without going in to the coup?

Unfortunately not, no. the large coop has drawers where you can collect eggs without needing to go inside. Or the expensive coop has a back section that you can grab the eggs from. You can add a gate/fences around the front entrance to allow access for you, but so that chickens/chicks can't break free.

Once you get the Penthouse Apartment by building Type A House directly attached to the Type B house - That unlocks the Supreme Coop (tm).

Supreme Coop comes with 1 Rooster and 15 Hens in an Hermitically Sealed Cube that you never actually enter. You get a Fob that you put on your Key chain and whenever you feel like 'working with the chickens' - Just push the Fob button and Viola!! Auto Feed, Water and Harvest eggs without ever leaving bed!

ehi Ambreon, thank you for your good work and the beautiful game: it happens that i did gate/fence around the large coop, but gate stands open and chicken &chicks run away. I don't know why, may you help me? thanks a lot

Thank you for the kind words! When placing fences down, you can use Q and E to raise/lower them, you may need to lower them a little bit if you're building on land with any sort of slope. If you're really stuck, let me know and I can take a look at your save game to see whats up :)

Can you bring in better food for the chickens so if you give them good quality food they will lay better eggs?

Could you also have it so they are laydown to lay their eggs? And can the eggs be more detailed?

Stick it in the suggestions thread so that we don't lose your ideas! We're still working through our own core features, and taking feedback on that. We haven't yet reached the stages of implementing smaller features so we'll come back to them!
