Pepare traps in the dense thicket

So, I am playing Vietcong of Siberia and trying to 'prepare traps in the dense thicket' by expedition goes over there and goes, guess we will come back later..... I am probably missing something silly. Any thoughts? I've already killed 8 of em.... still need to send a few more to the depths of hell.

can i ask you how to do the ambush renegade quest it wont disappear

Been a little while since I've done it now sorry. Honestly can't remember. Is that the one when you go to the cave? If so - I just brutally murdered em all.

i just try to find an good ending but after killing like 8 renegade and doing every quest put the trap on ambush blah blah blah and i still died by a bandit like i see many youtube rchannel have the good ending quest that you have to prepare a stuff but this quest dont appear on my game play at all s

There are different global quests.... one with a wolf or something, one with the rebels and one other. I have never seen the wolf.

I've killed 7 renegades with the traps and got the good ending after time ran out (24 days?) automatically. Just keep going and keep your team alive.

For the ones you can't kill, just leave them alone. Killing 8 is enough for the good ending.

Okay I'm necroing in-case anyone needs to know about the thicket traps - you just need to bring a rope with you & it will trigger!
