Saboteur II: Avenging Angel

Saboteur II: Avenging Angel

codes location guide?
Hello, is anyone planning to make a guide for location of codes and optimized walkthrpough to reach them?

So far I was able to collect 8 of them and I reached mission 8, I am missing 3 of them as youneed 11 inthis mission. I might make screenshots later if no one has better,.

Locations are the same as in the original, but smart route planning is strongly advised.

I followed an amstrad walkthrough to find missing papers. I finally beatmission 8 and 9, after all those years.

Nice! I bought the game and I'm now on mission 3. Way easier that i remeber from when i was a kid. Seeing the energy of the enemies is a game changer.

There is any way to acceed to more locations? Or this game is exactly like the 87 version and there are no more areas to explore?

Comparing the description of Saboteur! and Saboteur 2, there is a single difference, the "5 times bigger" in Saboteur! that is not present in Saboteur 2.

So, maybe the "New Levels, New Enemies, New Story" things is simply that it change the objectives of the missions, the narrative and the location of some enemies?

some doors are unlocked during progression and you can go through them. Those doors lead to intels but not to codes, all those intels arethere for background I would say.Check again dors you passed , and you willl see an icon appears that allows you to click and explore.

I'm in mission 4, where I have to get some kind of code (that seems different to the papers that you get usually) and I already found some intel (that is marked as a magnifier glass on "near")

I didn't bought Saboteur! because I only played Saboteur 2 during my childhood, but it seems that the one that is really improved is the 1.

But, on the other side, i saw a CAT construction crane in one of the promo screenshots in what it seems to be the right side of the base (that wasn't in the old game), so maybe it can be used to go somewhere else? Or a sign that the base is on construction and something else will be added?

I also used a walkthrough to find the codes(replacing paper tape with chips). I'm sure you'll agree the hardest to find was the one for which you need to fall off the tight rope and land on the hidden ledge. I could see myself possibly discovering it by accident, had I not used the walkthrough.

Though now I see that there seems to be more than 14 codes spread throughout the base, making that hard to find one unnecessary.

I have a map from my spectrum old days, with the 14 codes, but i think there are 15 total, but i can not get one piece of the code, but i know where it is. Just can not reech it.

I watched a guy get all 15 on Spectrum, funnily the 15th code overlaps the border of the status section, meant to contain only 14 codes. As we know the final code appears green to let the player know they have all the codes required for that mission, so the 15th code overlaps the red border and appears red too.
