No. I've never requested a refund before in my life, for anything, digital or physical.
My philosophy is that you should learn a lesson from money spent on something, whether you fully enjoyed it or not.
However, this game is entirely not fit for purpose. It's literally unplayable (software cursor caused input lag being the first and largest offender). And that justifies a refund, same as with buying anything entirely not fit for purpose.
That's another reason. I'm a strategist, which is why I play RTS and MOBA games. And from a strategic point of view, the requesting of refunds in itself is valuable.
The way I see it, even if, somehow, through some loophole in consumer laws, WB Games and/or Steam all manage to avoid issuing refunds, it would at least put enough pressure on them to make the game playable.
I sure as hell didn't buy the game to compete with LoL or DotA2. I bought it because I wanted a non-competitive MOBA to replace Demigod, one of my favorite PC games ever (see my avatar, the Torch Bearer, one of the heroes from Demigod), which was hacked to death and died ages ago. A MOBA to play for fun.
Unfortunately, I got this...
Lulz.
this is taken off http://deliverbliss.com/customer-complaints-gift the website itself is not really relevant but this following part off it is.
TARP researchers have found that for every one person who complains, there are 26 who do not. Every time you complain, and/or give feedback, not only are you helping your favorite companies get better at what they do, but you’re providing a voice for dozens of other customers who may have experienced the same issue.
forget me voicing for the rest who dont speak up part. i put that there to show that if im one person who thinks to be more wary of steam and their refusal to satisfy their customers then there is 26 people (at the very, very least) who think the same and i think a large percentage who bought this game feel the same way about the refund policy ♥♥♥♥♥.
Demigod was a buggy mess at launch. It took roughly 3 months of patches to iron it out. It was literally - unplayable - at launch. Yet we don't see people talking about that here..
Demigod required a complete re-write the matchmaking and network systems. Until that happened gamers were left out to dry. It wasn't a fun time. This game is heaven compared to Demigod at launch!
Of course there's no patch. It's a cheap console port cash-in.
They wouldn't have released it in this state if they intended to support it.
I was just hoping it would be playable at launch, so I could enjoy playing it for a while as a casual, non-competitive MOBA for fun. Alas...
All refunds are handled by the place of purchase and are subject to there return policy we apologize for any inconvenience that this causes you.
Thank you,

lol. really steam has to take some accountabilty for what it sells. its getting ridiculous. they might be the biggest player now but if they piss off enough people they will look elsewhere.
