Sherlock holmes vs jack the ripper freezes

I just installed sherlock holmes vs jack the ripper on my computer. My problem is the bar that every time I start the game and press new game( in the game) then it freezes completely, so I had to go to the desktop and then close it, but then, it just sherlock holmes vs jack the ripper kill stop working.
I installed NVIDIA PhysX, and my computer is a Windows 8 64-bit.

Does it freeze on the loading screen?

Yeah right after I pressed new game.

Did you install Nvidia PhysX Legacy pack? It will help in this case. You can download it from here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.12.1031-legacy-driver.html

Mine freezes too, even after I installed the driver and copied across the right file. Always after starting a new game.

It says I have a newer version when I go to install that - I tried installing (selecting repair) the two installers that are in the physx directory but still nothing =/ freezes

Having the same issue with freezing, dissapointing as the others were good

I played some levels with a Nvidia Card, I did not get any issues.
Since I use a Intel Grafic Card I have the same problem (Game wont start, screan freeses).

If ther are any new suggestions, let us know.
