Giant Gun

I've seen screenshots of the "Secret Big Gun" item a couple times. But I seen 2 possible ways to get it. It's either to build a contraption or a chance of it spawning in the weapons tab (My weapons tab is loaded with so much gun mods I might not even notice it) So which is a possible way to get it?

my theory for the gun is that is the machine used to get it ripped a hole through reality temporarily, allowing a gun from our world to enter the PPG world.
