whats with the big gun and the inverse teleporter?

let me explain, it's called inverse teleportaion because we are teleporting a normal sized gun to the real world into ppg dimension. The real world and the ppg world are completely different worlds but the ppg one is smaller hence why it's called a normal sized gun
