Nope it's not. Most of the other, much more graphically intensive games use much less resources of my GTX 1050Ti (for example: Company of Heroes 2, Witcher 3, Gmod, Prey, etc.).
Every time I boot this game, my internet connection quality goes really really bad and my GPU gets used up to 100% even when I just sit in the main menu. I am not that good at gamedev but I know enough to suspect that this game may use my PC resources for something other than rendering graphics and calculating physics.
There already were games in Steam that used their consumers' PCs for mining cryptocurrency. And the signs of these unscrupulous actions were identical to what I described above.
I'm not telling that it's really what this game does but I see no other explanation of such voracious PC resources (and internet traffic) consumption.
