Can you change the version back to 1.6, if so, how?
Most of the mods and workshop objects are only available for 1.6, and I was wondering if I could change it to the previous version. Sorry if I sound stupid. I haven't played for a while

you could just not update and open it from your steam folder.
as the exe.

right click the game in Steam
select the beta tab
choose "previous" from the dropdown
apply
verifiy game files
play 1.6

however, workshop contraptions should be compatible with 1.7 too.

Thank you, and most contraptions made by my favorite creator "sv1t" don't support 1.7

i press previous and nothing happens i verify games files nothing happens i just go into 1.14

click on local files and verify integrity of game's file's here if you havent used your eyes

bro i verified integrity of game files now what? what the hell do i do? i got to betas and its still preview and beta option only theres no 1.6 1.7 theres nothing its the same what the hell did i do wrong
